PRIVACY POLICY

At BrassBrad.com, my staff and I are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information you provide to process consultation inquiries and to enhance your website experience. Please read on for more details about my privacy policy.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you request consultation services for a screenplay, I need to know your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. I will also require a logline and a synopsis paragraph of your script. This allows me to refuse any work that I feel I should not receive, for any number of reasons. One reason may be that I deem the project to be a possible conflict of interest or it may appear to be too similar to a current project of mine. My reasons for refusal may not be limited to these reasons. In the event that I am available to consult on your script and you elect to pay for my services, I will read your script in its entirety, write upon it notes, corrections, and so on, then return it to you in the postage paid envelope you provide, along with my written consultation. No additional copies will be made of your work, nor will the contents of your script be discussed with others.
I do reserve the right to keep copies of all notes & correspondence of the transaction, and to post portions of my notes on this website. In the event I place a sample of notes on the site, they will not contain your personal information nor the title of your work. Notes will not be reprinted in their entirety.
When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.
We may also use your information to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site, new BrassBrad.com services, and special offers I think you'll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, you may email NoStuff@BrassBrad.com and type REMOVE in the subject line.

Will BrassBrad.com disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
BrassBrad.com does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. BrassBrad.com may release acquired information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of BrassBrad.com, our users, or others.

How does BrassBrad.com allow customers to update or change the information it collects?
You may update or change your personal information by emailing a request to Changes@BrassBrad.com. If you are notifying us of a new email address, please be sure to reference your old one in the body of the email.
