Secondary Schools (gr. 7-12): For those career oriented classes, I can speak in depth about Screenwriting as a career choice and provide insight on how to break into this industry.  For writing, video and drama classes, I will introduce screenwriting as a career and then focus the talk as appropriate to the needs of the class instructor.  Topics one might choose from are FINDING YOUR CREATIVITY, THE STORYTELLING PROCESS, CHARACTERIZATION, etc...

Elementary Schools (gr 4-6):  I introduce screenwriting and focus on creative exercises that help students get excited about writing and teach them how to tap into their own creativity in writing projects.

Scripts must be accepted for consultation prior to sending.  After you submit your Inquiry Form, you should know within 2 days whether I'll accept the script.  Scripts may not be accepted for various reasons, including but not limited to, time considerations or subject matter.  If the logline submitted too closely resembles the subject matter of a script I'm currently working on, I will not read the material.  Please take the time to review my privacy policy and submission requirements.  Submitted scripts are expected to meet the standards outlined in the Submission Requirements Section. Ensure it's typed in the proper font and has the proper margins.  Scripts that are not written in proper screenplay format may be returned with a refund at Kimberly's discretion.
